Senior Specialist Application Excellence (f/m/d)

As the Senior Specialist Application Excellence, you will act as a technical bridge between our regional go-to-market teams (Sales/Application Engineering) and AT&S internal engineering forces. In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales regions to understand customer requirements, develop technical solutions, and ensure AT&S is positioned as a technology leader in the market.

• Collaborate with regional Sales/AE teams to understand customer requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions
• Identify and communicate emerging technical trends and needs, guiding regional teams to address them and contribute to AT&S's technology roadmap
• Support technical exchanges, feasibility checks, plant allocation, and cost-saving initiatives to ensure efficient project execution
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials to enable knowledge sharing and customer engagement
• Provide go-to-market technology documentation and best-in-class technical support to strengthen customer relationships and position AT&S as a technology leader
• Act as a center of expert for application engineering, ensuring maximum ROI for established technologies and supporting strategic initiatives.

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (e.g., HTL or equivalent), with at least 3 years of experience in application engineering or technical sales support; electronics manufacturing experience is a plus
• Strong customer and market orientation with the ability to anticipate trends, combined with project management skills and experience leading technical initiatives
• Strong social competencies for cross-functional collaboration and negotiation of technical solutions
• Willingness to engage in technical exchanges with international partners and represent AT&S interests with external customers
• Solid technical knowledge in electronics manufacturing (preferred) and capability to drive technical excellence across regions
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Readiness to travel as required
